Mr. mora and mr. bourgeois art classes at harry bridges span
Mr. Mora and Mr. Bourgeois both teach art as an elective. They are two separate classes. Mr. Mora and Mr. Borgeois teach their students different techniques. The techniques are simple, but they are helpful if your not experienced with art. Both of their classes are well behaved. The students all enjoy art as an elective. The students in the art classes do various of types of projects. They did self portraits with oil and chalked pastels. All the projects that they did, they did it with different materials.
mR. mORA'S art CLASS In the beginning of the year Mr. Mora made his students do a simple project.The simple project was to cut-off shapes.Then, he made his students do another project.The other project was to print a medium size picture called "scream" in black and white.After, they were done printing they had to draw one exactly like that, but it didn't had to be perfect.They had draw it next to the printed one where there was an available space and they had to color it in different types of colors with colored pencils.When they were done with that the students had to do two self portraits.One in a small piece of paper and another one in a small piece of paper.They colored their portraits with oil pastels.They also did another self portrait, but in "Picasso Style".The"Picasso Style" has a green face, but Mr. Mora didn't made them color the face green, thats only if they wanted to.

Mr. bourgeois art class Mr. Bourgeois has his students do many different types of art projects. Each project they do focuses on a certain skill or skills. They do self portraits, landscapes, still lives, abstract art and 3 dimensional art, and many more. He has his class study colors. They have learned about complementary colors, primary colors, secondary & tertiary colors. He also has them study warm and cool colors. They use various of types of material to complete their projects. They use chalk pastels, markers, crayons, water colors, watercolor pencil and also sand.
Mr. Bourgeois sometimes switches class rooms. Some days he's in one class room and some days he's across the hall in a different class room. When his students do the art projects he plays music for the class to listen to. All the projects they are fun to do, students love them. They have painted parrots, their names/nicknames. They have drawn and colored lizards, bell peppers, and a farm. |
